Founded in 2017, Surfilter Network Security Attack and Defense Laboratory (SURFSRC) focuses on network security attack and defense technology and related systems.

The lab focuses on APT attack and defense technologies, malicious code confrontation, host and network-based forensics technology, online malicious traffic detection, binary vulnerability attack and defense, contactless mobile terminal vulnerability and attack (including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth on the Android and iOS platform) and research & application of network information security attack and defense technologies such as web security research, network attack and defense penetration, and malicious attack traceability. The lab also focuses on gaining insight into the latest threats in network security, improving enterprise security and efficiency, and supporting enterprise network information security.
