On July 6th, Surfilter issued an announcement, indicating that the company had signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province, to promote the implementation of the “10 Billion-level Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Industry Cluster” project. The Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province is closely cooperating with Surfilter in the fields of network content and behavior auditing, network information solutions, and so on.

Based on the cooperation agreement, both parties will deepen strategic cooperation in research and development of network information security technology, personnel training and other aspects. The company has set up a network security R&D base and a Big Data security talent training base in Hainan, which aims to have a staff of 100 people in Hainan by 2020, with operating income exceeding RMB500 million. The Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province is guiding and supporting the company to settle in Hainan, to develop Hainan’s informatization.

The signing of this framework agreement not only conforms to the national development strategy, but also promotes development of the overall network security industry.
