On January 25th, the China National Vulnerability Database of Information Security (CNNVD) released a list of new manufacturers and products for compatibility services in 2017. After evaluation by the Experts Review Committee, Surfilter’s situational awareness system (Network Space Security Situation Awareness and Early Warning System NSSA V6.0) passed CNNVD compatibility certification. This marks the recognition of Surfilter and its situational awareness systems by national authorities in the information security field.

The China National Vulnerability Database of Information Security (CNNVD) was officially put into operation in 2009. It is an important platform for China Information Security Evaluation Center to perform vulnerability analysis and risk assessment functions, and aim to provide basic services for safety guarantee of China's information security. In recent years, CNNVD has played an important role in information security vulnerability data collection, major vulnerability information synchronization, and high-risk vulnerability security elimination and control, providing important technical and data support for China's important industries and critical infrastructure security work.

Through cooperation and knowledge sharing with CNNVD, when Surfilter’s situational awareness system actively senses a network security situation, it immediately takes actions to control the situation. CNNVD compatibility refers to a method to correlate vulnerability information through the use of CNNVD identification among different security tools, vulnerability data repositories, information security services, and other vulnerability disclosure platforms.

The CNNVD Compatibility Service is CNNVD's service for domestic information security practitioners to conduct standardized assessment and certification of vulnerability information related to their products/services.
