On September 23rd, the final round of the 2nd Guangdong Province “Strong Net Cup” Network Security Contest concluded successfully at Jinan University’s Shaoyifu Gymnasium. After a full day of fierce competition, Surfilter’s experienced teams stood out among the 80 participating teams. With the excellent network security and offensive & defensive technical strength, Surfilter’s teams won the first and third prize of the Network Security Enterprise Group and ranked first in terms of total score!

As one of the main activities of the 4th Guangdong Province Network Security Publicity Week, this competition was jointly organized by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Network Information Office, the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Provincial Public Security Department, the Provincial Security Department, and the Provincial Communication Administration Bureau, and is one of the largest professional network security events in Guangdong Province with the widest impact and highest technical content. From its launch in August, 206 teams from all over the province signed up for the competition, and were divided into four groups: government units, key information infrastructure operation enterprises, network security enterprises and universities. Finally, 80 teams entered the offline finals.

At the final on the 23rd, the 80 finalists delivered a wonderful network security attack and defense drill competition. Finally, Surfilter’s teams (SURFSRC team, Surfilter team) won the first and third prize in the network security enterprise group with excellent network security attack & defense technical strength.

The Surfilter teams also performed exceptionally well in the network security competitions held in other provinces and cities. On September 21st, Surfilter’s team participated in the 2017 Hubei Province Second Network Security Technology Competition held by Hubei Provincial Network Information Office, Provincial Education Department and Provincial Communication Administration Bureau, along with 60 enterprises, universities and other teams. The competition was fierce and Surfilter’s team finally won the third prize.

As an innovative enterprise in the domestic network security industry, Surfilter attaches immense importance to the training of network security talents and actively explores a new model for cyberspace security personnel training.
