Cyberspace Data Governance Expert
On December 3rd, the 2016 Annual General Conference of China Network Security Industry Alliance was successfully held in Beijing, where Surfilter was reelected as the Director Unit of China Network Security Industry Alliance. More than 300 representatives of domestic network security experts and alliance members attended the conference.

Hu Xiao, Deputy Director of the Network Security Coordination Bureau of the Central Network Information Office, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Chen Xingyue, the General Secretary of the Alliance, gave a presentation at the conference titled “2016 Summary of the Work of the Alliance” and “Work Plan for 2017”. The “Proposal on Amending the Constitution of China Network Security Industry Alliance” was also put forward and passed through voting at the conference.

Based on the Alliance’s constitution and election method, the conference adopted a ballot method to elect 12 new director units and formed a board of directors with 32 sponsoring units including Surfilter. Subsequently, Cui Congcong, Deputy Director of the Center for Internet Governance and Law Research at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, was invited to host a lecture on network security law, to analyze the network security law in an easy-to-understand manner. The conference came to a successful conclusion soon after.
