On the afternoon of November 3rd, the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government held a private entrepreneur symposium to award Shenzhen enterprises that were listed in the 2016 Top 500 China Private Enterprises list. The event aims to understand the problems and difficulties in the development of private enterprises, and provides a platform for the sharing of opinions and suggestions by entrepreneurs for the development of private economy in Shenzhen. Ma Xingrui, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Mayor Xu Qin, Guo Yonghang, member of the Standing Committee of Municipal Party Committee, General Secretary of Municipal Party Committee and other leaders attended the symposium. As a well-known private entrepreneur, Jing Xiaojun, Chairman of Surfilter, was invited to attend the symposium where he gave a speech.

Chairman Jing Xiaojun said in his speech that “information network security is directly related to national security and social stability”. As a window of Chinese Economic Reform, Shenzhen has achieved remarkable success in information infrastructure development. However, Shenzhen’s network security industry has not developed as rapidly as the overall economic development, and the industry scale, development, technological innovation and talent training are facing serious challenges. When talking about the future development and plan of the network security industry, Chairman Jing Xiaojun pointed out that the Central Party Committee and the State Council have always attached importance to the development of China's information security guarantee system, and attached importance to information security disciplines, professional development and talent training. If we want to do a good job in Shenzhen's network information security, we need to accelerate the construction of the "cyberspace security innovation and industrial base".
